Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where a recording medium can be surely carried to a fixing device and the heat of the fixing device can be prevented from giving an adverse effect to peripheral parts. SOLUTION: In the device, the speed of revolution is reduced by controlling the speed of revolution of a fan 70 by a controller 80 until a leading tip of the recording medium is crimped by a fixing roll 62 and a press roll 64 after the recording medium is brought close to the fixing device 60.
