APPARATUS FOR MONITORING AMOUNT OF WATER RESERVED IN DAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus for an equalizing type dam or the like, for automatically extracting the trend of instantaneous values of the amount of water reserved in the dam. SOLUTION: The monitoring device 1, for monitoring the amount of water reserved in an equalizing dam, is provided with an input means 2 for sampling, in time series, data showing the points of changes in the amount of water reserved in the dam, the amount of water used for power generation that causes changes in the amount of water reserved, and set values for discharge; an instantaneous value extracting means 3 for obtaining a trend, showing instantaneous values of the amount of water reserved, by interconnecting the points of changes in the amount of water reserved, from the data showing the points of changes in steps, and for correcting the trend based on events which cause changes in the amount of water reserved, if there is no change in the data about the amount of water reserved; and a display processing means 4 for displaying the instantaneous values in the form of trends.
