SOLUTION: The crank damper comprises a mass body connected about a crankshaft via an elastic body. The mass body in structured to minimize the moment of inertia of the mass body about the orthogonal axis orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the nearest cylinder to the crank dumper and to the longitudinal axis of a crankshaft, when a piston of the cylinder is in the top dead center.
