ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor 4 of an ac generator equipped with cooling fans 5, 6 which can secure cooling capability of each heat generating component sufficiently within a limited space and can reduce noise of the cooling air sufficiently. SOLUTION: In the rotor 4 of an ac generator for a vehicle wherein cooling fans 5, 6 are fixed by welding on both ends of an annulus ring-shaped part of Run Dell pole core 1, 2 rotating integrally with a rotating shaft 3 supported rotatably on a housing within which a stator is fixed, a plurality of shrouds 24 are integrally molded partially by pressing or deep drawing on the base plates of the cooling fan 5 wherein a plurality of mixed flow cooling blades 22 and a plurality of centrifugal flow cooling blade 23 are arranged radially with non-equal spacing, and a plurality of shrouds 34 are integrally molded partially by pressing or deep drawing on the base plates of the cooling fan 6 wherein a plurality of centrifugal flow cooling blades 32, 33 are arranged radially with non-equal spacing.
