Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a music at a proper position by setting an optimum music switching method for an output source. SOLUTION: This data recording/reproducing device 10 includes a digital audio interface 40, and digital data are inputted via the digital audio interface 40. The digital data include audio data and its auxiliary information. The auxiliary information is detected by a system control microcomputer 24, which specifies the output source (regenerating device or the like) of the audio data according to the category code included in the auxiliary information and sets the optimum music switching method on the specified output source, thereby the audio data can be recorded on the disk 14a of an MD(micro disk) 14 in the optimum music switching method.
