Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booking system which enables students to register (application to a lecture), make and confirm a reservation through a communication network even at home. SOLUTION: In the booking system of this invention, when a request for the a reservation of a lecture is sent from the terminal of a student 1 to a server device 4 through a communication network 3 towards learning institutions such as music schools where each teacher has several classes in a varied time frame, the server device 4 searches teachers or course of lecture in accordance with the requested reservation of a course of lecture and sends the search results back to the terminal of the student 1. When a teacher or a course of lecture preferred by the student is selected from the search results and an instruction of reservation for the teacher or the course of lecture is resent from the terminal of the student 1, the server device 4 books the student at the terminal 1 for the course of lecture in accordance with the instructed reservation for the course of lecture. The terminal of a teacher 2 who is in charge of the course of lecture is notified of the booking results.
