SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ORDERING CLINICAL TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clinical test ordering system, in which much troubles for collating between a specimen and order data. SOLUTION: This ordering system is provided with an order input terminal 1 for generating the needed number of specimen ID numbers according to a test item, when patient information and the test item are inputted and for generating the order data which include the patient information, the test item and the specimen ID numbers, an order data recording medium 5 for recording the order data generated by the order input terminal 1, a label printer 3 for printing the specimen ID number included in the order data generated by the order input device 1 on a specimen label 3a for sticking to a container 6, in which the specimen 6a is to be stored and issuing the specimen label on which the specimen ID number is printed, and a specimen-collating terminal 7 for collating the specimen ID number printed on the specimen label issued by the label printer 3 with the specimen ID number which is included in the order data recorded in the order data recording medium 5.
