ANIMATION IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animation image display system which is capable of smoothly displaying animation images. SOLUTION: An erasure circuit is added in addition to a drawing circuit 5 and a display circuit 7 disposed in the conventional animation image display system as well. This system is provided with bit map memories (VRAM 1, 2 and 3) for three screen-components such that each of the processings of drawing, erasing and displaying is simultaneously carried out in parallel. The image switching processing which is carried out heretofore in the period for two processing-component; erasing and drawing, may be carried out in a period for the one processing-component and the switching of the display images by each of the respective processing periods is made possible. As a result, the animation image display may be smoothly carried out even if an image information quantity is large.
