PROTECTIVE VEST AGAINST IONIZING RADIATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective vest which is designed for people working under the condition of the increasing level of an ionizing radiation and which enhances the protective and operating characteristic of the protective means of an individual. SOLUTION: In the development field of a means for the protection of the individual used when an operation is performed in an area contaminated with the radiation, the vest is provided with a chest-part protective part, a back-part protective part and a lower-part protective part. They are formed in the shape of a cover comprising protective elements. The protective elements have a fiber-based shape comprising blocks, in the longitudinal-direction part and/or the transverse-direction part, filled with a radiation nonpenetrable material which has a changing thickness decided in advance in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction.
