Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving reaction rate of hydrogenation and unifying completion time of the reaction when obtaining 4,6-diaminoresorcin dihydrochloride by hydrogenating 4,6-dinitroresorcin. SOLUTION: This method for producing the 4,6-diaminoresorcin is characterized by adding a phase transfer catalyst when hydrogenating the 4,6- dinitroresorcin in the presence of a metal catalyst in aqueous hydrochloric acid.
