Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid fitting structure capable of closing an opening part without generating any deviation of a lid or any gap and with excellent appearance. SOLUTION: Both fitting surfaces 3 and 12 of the opening part 2 formed in an instrument panel 1 forming a base and an air bag lid 11 forming the lid for closing the opening part 2 are brought into surface-contact with each other in an inclined manner to the closing direction of the opening part 2 by the air bag lid 11, a position regulating surface 5 is provided on the opening part 2 on the distal side in the closing direction of the fitting surface 3 to the air bag lid 11, and a striking rib 13 which is abutted on the back side of the air bag lid to regulate the fitting position of the air bag lid 11 with respect to the opening part 2 is provided on the air bag lid 11.
