DECORATIVE PILLAR STRUCTURE FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative pillar structure for a building, having good appearance, impairing no circumstances and favorably attaining the greening effect of plant. SOLUTION: This decorative pillar 20 structure has a core pillar material 22, decorative face materials 24 provided with openings 25, disposed apart from the core pillar material 22 and surrounding it, and greening panel materials 30 each arranged between the core pillar material 22 and each of the decorative face materials 24 and attached onto the inner surface of the decorative face material 24; wherein each of the greening panel materials 30 is in the form of a flat box with one face opened and has a container box 32 attached onto the decorative face material 24 with the opened face thereagainst, a water- holding bed 34 packed in the container box 32, a covering fibrous layer 36 closing the opened face, and a greening plant 40 planted in the water-holding bed 34 and extending outside through the fibrous layer 36, the opened face and the openings 25 of the decorative face material 24.
