FLUID BEARING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing device having the excellent moment withstanding force important to realize the excellent portable performance and having high reliability with a low power consumption and capable of restricting the influence of bubbles left inside of a bearing to remarkably small. SOLUTION: This fluid bearing device is provided with a shaft 13 having flange parts 15 and 15 in both ends thereof or near there and a sleeve 12 facing to the shaft 13 through a fluid bearing clearance C. The flange parts 15 and 15 are formed into a nearly conical shape, and arranged in the shaft 13 so that a projecting direction of the conical surface 15f is directed to a central part of the shaft. A lubricating oil reservoir 22 for holding the lubricating agent is provided so as to be communicated with the fluid bearing clearance C, and this lubricating oil reservoir 22 is formed so that a clearance is gradually narrowed toward the fluid bearing clearance C. Furthermore, an air discharge hole 23 communicated with the atmospheric air is provided at a wide clearance part of the lubricating oil reservoir 22.
