Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for recovering/isolating in high yield organic substance(s) (particularly, acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile) simultaneously and without using any complicated equipment from a reaction gas containing the substance(s) (particularly, acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile). SOLUTION: This method for isolating organic substance(s) from a gas mixture containing the substance(s) comprises quenching the gas mixture in a column 1, and is characterized by comprising quenching the gas mixture on the upper part 2 of the column and then stripping the resultant quenched liquid on the lower part 3 of the column.
