Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the side lobe of a horn type ultrasonic transmitter/receiver and to easily obtain a required directional characteristic by optionally selecting oscillation frequency. SOLUTION: A cylindrical vibrator 3 is constituted of a plurality of laminated cylindrical vibrators 3a to 3d. When weighted voltage is applied to respective cylindrical vibrators 3a to 3d, ultrasonic waves generated from respective vibrators 3a to 3d become sound pressure levels corresponding to the weight and the side lobe caused by the ultrasonic waves radiated from the peripheral part of a horn 1 can be suppressed by gradually reducing the sound pressure levels in the direction from the center of the horn 1 to the periphery. When the height of respective vibrators 3a to 3d is changed, the oscillation frequency of the vertical direction can be optionally selected and a required directional characteristic corresponding to a purpose or a use can be obtained. |
