Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DVD reproduction system that can simultaneously reproduce two kinds of captions. SOLUTION: The DVD reproduction system of this invention is provided with a loader system 32, a system parser 34, decoders 42, 46, and an image/ caption composer 48. The loader system 32 reads a secondary caption control signal (SP2) from a user interface control unit in addition to a primary caption control signal (SP1) from a navigator 20. A sub-picture decoder/composer 46 generates a mixed caption frame including primary and secondary sub-pictures captions and the image/caption composer mixes an image frame with a mixed caption frame to generate an image including 2 kinds of the captions.
