Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a customer side automatically aquirable update information on contents sold at a distributor without requiring an action. SOLUTION: A customer/update information management device 40 is arranged on a network. The customer side 50 registers customer information including an electronic address of the customer in the customer/update information management device 40 for receiving support for the contents purchased at a bookshop 30. A contents publishing source 10 transmits update information about the contents to the customer/update information management device 40. The customer/update information management device 40 stores the update information transmitted from the contents publishing source 10 and transmits the update information to the customer side 50 on the basis of the registered electronic address of the customer.
