QUALITY INSPECTION METHOD AND QUALITY INSPECTION DEVICE FOR ENDLESS METALLIC BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge the quality of a metal belt by accurately and easily measuring the qualitative property related to durability of the endless metallic belt. SOLUTION: This quality inspection device for endless metallic belt 3 constituted by fitting an annular hoop 2 around a saddle part of these elements 1 by mutually oppositely arranging the plural elements 1 in an annular shape in the plate thickness direction, is provided with a reference surface board 22 having a measuring sheave surface 25 for contacting one side surface of the elements 1, a pressing overhang member 32 for pressing an inner peripheral surface of the endless metallic belt 3 outside in the radial direction so that one side surface of the elements 1 is contacted with the measuring sheave surface 25 and the saddle part is brought into close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the hoop 2 and a displacement measuring sensor 42 for measuring the height from the measuring sheave surface 25 of the elements 1 in a state of pressing the endless metallic belt outside in the radial direction by this pressing overhang member 32.
