SOLUTION: This navigation device which guides a route to a destination is equipped with a vehicle position detecting means, which detects the position of its vehicle, a detection means for dangerous state which detects the dangerous state of the vehicle, a dangerous position storage means which stores its vehicle position detected by the vehicle position detecting means as dangerous position data, when the dangerous state detecting means detects the dangerous state, a dangerous position approach detecting means which detects its vehicle approaching the dangerous position according to its vehicle position detected by the vehicle position detecting means and dangerous position data stored in the dangerous position storage means, and an alarm-generating means which generates an alarm, when the dangerous position approach detecting means detects approach to the dangerous position.
