Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve radiation characteristics of a molded reflector antenna used at communication satellites. SOLUTION: In the illustrated system including multiple molded reflector antenna configurations, Fig. 1 is the configuration of a divergent reflector antenna (a), and Fig. 2 is a convergent reflector antenna (b). Each reflector antenna contains a main antenna 11, a sub-antenna 12, and a feeder horn 13. The feeder horn 13 radiates RF energy at the sub-antenna 12 with the shape of a feeder cone which is reflected to the main antenna 11. The propagation direction of RF energy radiated from each molded reflector antenna is different in a defined direction according to the vector between a predetermined apex and the focus for each molded reflector antenna. It is clockwise for the defined direction according to the vector between a predetermined apex and the focus for each molded reflector antenna. |
