Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or remove electricity consumption used to correct scanning positions of an electron beam in the event that a phosphor screen and an electron gun are disposed in a misaligned manner. SOLUTION: A misalignment correcting component 20 is disposed on the front end side of the electron gun. The correcting component 20 is used to correct misalignment between a center axis 35C of the electron gun and the center position of the phosphor screen, and has the function of vertically biasing the scanning positions of the electron beam 30 toward the center of the phosphor screen. The correcting component 20 comprises a permanent magnet, for example, and sets up a magnetic field without being supplied with power. As the correcting component 20, a previously magnetized magnetic substance can be used, or the magnetic substance can be magnetized by giving a magnetic field from the exterior after the cathode-ray tube is assembled.
