METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a disk type magnetic recording medium including recording servo signals, physical formatting, and verifying, in which detection of abnormalities and selection of physical format to be executed are automatically performed, enabling to save operations and achieve efficient productivity. SOLUTION: Using information, which is recorded during at least either recording of servo signals or physical formatting, processing for a magnetic recording medium is determined to achieve the above-described purpose.
