SOLUTION: An automatic settlement machine 2 is provided in the room 1, a front door 19 capable of being locked is provided with a cash in and out port 15, a card insertion port 17, a code number input key 16, a display unit 14, and a printer discharge port 20, a controller 4 is provided in the automatic settlement machine 2, and the controller 4 consists of a user interface control circuit 13, a communication interface control circuit 12, and a CPU 11. A host computer 7, a customer data management computer 9, a credit and debit server 8 connected to a telephone network 10, and a front interface device 6 are provided in a front 5, and the communication interface control circuit 12 and the front interface device 6 are connected by a communication line 21.
