Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide merchandise selecting method and system which can select optimum merchandise from among many kinds of selectable merchandises and also easily prepare a board for proposal. SOLUTION: First, a house room layout drawing is fetched and displayed on a screen. Next, arrangement marks are attached, by designating positions where merchandise on the room layout drawing is arranged. Furthermore, spatial information such as a position inside the house and the structural characteristics, etc., of the space are set as the attribute information of an arrangement mark, in each attached arrangement mark. Then, the optimum merchandise is selected with the attribute information as a retrieval key.
