Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of the subject system and terminal device such that personal information leaks out when a device itself is lost or stolen and the problem that the start operation of the device is large and expensive and the start operation of the device is not simple because the device itself has an operating means for performing personal information identification software and a memory, etc., storing many pieces of personal information. SOLUTION: This personal information identification system is provided with a terminal connected to an information processing center through a network, and the information processing center is provided with an individual identification application server for identifying an individual on the basis of input information transmitted from the terminal through the network and data read from a database in which many pieces of personal information are stored. Then the identified result is transmitted to the terminal through the network, and displayed on the terminal.
