SOLUTION: This method is characterized by manufacturing a diffraction grating with a shape of a rugged pattern in which at least corner parts continue in a curved line by a polishing process using a polisher 5 from a diffraction grating surface 2 consisting of the rectangular rugged pattern shape of a low pass filter 1 as a raw material.
