Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a method for removing uranium and plutonium from a water and a soil contaminated with uranium and plutonium, using Lichenes and their metabolites, and synthetic metabolites, so as to protect environment, that is not established hitherto. SOLUTION: Uranium and plutonium in a polluted water and polluted soil are recovered by bringing them into contact with the Lichenes and their metabolites, and the synthetic metabolites. The Lichenes and their metabolites, and the synthetic metabolites are incinerated or brought into contact with an acidic solution such as a phosphoric acid solution to isolate the uranium and the plutonium.
