Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which can measure a specimen using optimum force, according to the material or the shape of the specimen. SOLUTION: The measuring device is provided with a spindle 11 installed at a body 1, a sleeve 31 which can be moved in the same direction as the movement direction of the spindle and which can be fixed to the body 1 at an arbitrary position, a connecting member 41 which connects the sleeve to the spindle and which permits relative movement of both at a prescribed stroke in their movement direction, a pressurization spring 61 which is housed inside the sleeve and by which the spindle is urged in a direction that comes into contact with the specimen via the connecting member and an urging-force display means 71, which displays the urging force of the pressurization spring 61.
