Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique utilizing a nitric acid waste solution, a hydrogen fluoride waste aqueous solution and a nitric-hydrofluoric acid waste solution used for etching and cleaning of electronic parts as a pickling solution for stainless steel. SOLUTION: In this method for pickling stainless steel using a nitric acid waste solution and/or a hydrogen fluoride waste aqueous solution used for the etching and/or cleaning of electronic parts as a pickling solution for stainless steel, the pickling solution is controlled in such a manner that the concentration of nitric acid is regulated to >=50g/l and/or the concentration of hydrogen fluoride is regulated to >=10g/l, and also, the contents of Si, B, P and Cl are regulated to
