Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a series of pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidin-7-one compounds being mostly 5 type cyclic guanosine 3',5'-monophosphate phosphodiesterase (cGMP PDE5) inhibitors, useful in various treatment fields (male erectile dysfunction, etc.). SOLUTION: This method for producing a compound represented by formula (I) or its pharmacologically or veterinary veterinarily acceptable salt, prodrug, polymorphic phase and/or solvate comprises reacting a compound of formula (II), (III), (IV) or (V) (each compound is as defined in the claim 1 in the specification) in the presence of OR3 and a hydroxide trapping agent or in the case of a compound of formula (IV) or (V) reacting in the presence of an auxiliary base and a hydroxide trapping agent (namely, -OR3 is substituted with the auxiliary base).
