ANTITONIC AGENT FOR CILIARY MUSCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new medicine selectively having antitonic actions on ciliary muscles. SOLUTION: This antitonic agent for the ciliary muscles comprises a quinuclidine derivative represented by the general formula (I) (wherein, symbols have the following meanings: ring A is an aryl group, a cycloalkyl group, a cycloalkenyl group or the like; X is a single bond or methylene group; R1 is a halogen atom, hydroxy group, a lower alkoxy group, carboxy group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, a lower acyl group, mercapto group or the like; R2 is hydrogen, hydroxy group, a lower alkoxy group or a lower alkyl group; (l) is 0 or 1; (m) is 0 or an integer of 1-3; and (n) is 1 or 1), a salt or a quaternary ammonium salt thereof.
