SUNROOF DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunroof device for a vehicle, having an improved feel of opening in a fully open condition by enlarging an opening portion and increasing an opening area during fully opening. SOLUTION: A lid 3 is split into a front lid 31 and a rear lid 32. The front lid 31 is first tilted up with the opening drive of a driving unit in a fully closed condition and then the front lid 31 as tilted up is slid backward and put in a semi-open condition approaching right before the rear lid 32. Further, the rear lid 32 is moved down with the opening drive of the driving unit and then the front lid 31 in the semi-open condition and the moved-down rear lid 32 are slid backward until the front lid 31 reaches the upper part of the roof 1 behind the opening portion and the rear lid 32 is put in a fully open condition, stored in a storage portion 6 at the lower part of the roof behind the opening portion. With the closing drive of the drive unit, the front lid 31 in the fully open condition and the rear lid 32 are operated in sequence in opposite directions to those in the opening drive and put in a fully closed condition.
