Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method and a recorder which can perform recording at a higher speed than that of a conventional full overlap recording system without causing any stripe pattern in bi-directional recording by improving a microwave system. SOLUTION: A raster is formed of white round dots in the n-th main scanning (going path). Following to main scanning, a print sheet S is carried to the downstream side in the sub-scanning direction by a sub-scanning distance equal to the dot interval (d) and a raster is formed of black round dots in the (n+1)th main scanning (return path) after carriage. Subsequently, the print sheet S is carried to the downstream side in the sub-scanning direction by a sub-scanning distance (2N-1).d and round dots of white and black are formed, respectively, in the (n+2)th main scanning (going path) after carriage and the (n+3)th main scanning (return path) after carriage of the sup-scanning distance (d). An image is printed in units of two adjacent rasters formed by the same nozzle.
