Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold rolling method for a highly glossy steel strip capable of preventing a local sprawled earing using a unilateral taper work roll and of allowing a high draft rolling. SOLUTION: A portion tapering to the ends of a unilateral roll barrel between the upper and lower work rolls and to the ends of the roll barrel in symmetric positions of the other roll is provided and both the work rolls are made so as to be shiftable in the axial directions, being built into a housing and setting the tapering portion in the respective positions of the edge portions of the steel strip and in the cold rolling method for the highly glossy steel strip in the cluster type rolling mill which performs the rolling on the steel strip with a plurality of passes, the cold rolling method for the highly glossy steel strip in the cluster type rolling mill characterized by the features that the surface roughness of the upper and lower work rolls is 0.17 to 0.25 μm and a convex crown of 10 to 40 μm is imparted to the non-tapering portion of the upper and lower work roll. |
