Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic cation exchange resin packed body which inhibits the decomposition of the acidic cation exchange resin in storage or in transport, reduces the amount of its eluate, prevents the propagation of microorganisms and removes toxins (endotoxins) produced by microorganisms and to provide a method for producing the acidic cation exchange resin. SOLUTION: The acidic cation exchange resin packed body 1 is obtained by filling the acidic cation exchange resin 4 into a container 2 together with an aqueous alkali solution 3. This aqueous alkali solution 3 is a highly basic aqueous alkali solution 3 and contains the same cation as the terminal groups of the acidic cation exchange resin.
