SOLUTION: First, a period during which thread end breakage information is displayed is selected (S120). Next, a display method for displaying this thread end breakage information is selected (S130). In this case, the display method can be selected between displaying the information in the form of a mark over a chart of a sewing pattern or displaying it in the form of a graph corresponding to the number of needles. Next, the number of thread end breakages is collected from log data (S140), whereby the number of thread end breakages which corresponds to each number of needles can be determined. Next, a sewing pattern for displaying the thread end breakage information is selected (S150). Further, if the mark is displayed by the above thread end breakage display method selected in S130 (S155: YES), then the mark indicating the thread end breakage information is displayed (S160); if the graph is displayed (S155: NO), then the thread end breakage information is displayed in the form of a graph (S170).
