Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information transmission method that can easily transmit its own current position to an opposite party without the need for conversation. SOLUTION: When a user of a PHS 11 depresses a position transmission button 18, a positional information server 15 informs a PHS 14 of the opposite party about the current position of the PHS 11 based on an ID of a base station 12a in the coverage of which the PHS 11 exists and the position information acquired from the position of the PHS 11 via the base station 12a and a position information server 15 without the need for conversation with a user of the PHS 14.
