PUSH BUTTON SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button switch which provides good operability regardless of the distance between an operation surface and a switch part. SOLUTION: The push button switch is provided with a support member 4, a lever member 5 supported turnably by it, an operation member 6 which translates in D2 direction when a button 6a is pressed with a finger, and a hinge 7 of an elastic body whose one end is fixed to the operation member 6 while the other end is fixed to the end part of the lever member 5. When the operation member 4 is translated in the D2 direction, the lever member 5 turns while the hinge 7 is elastically deformed. A protruding part 5a of the lever member 5 moves in D4 direction which is different from the D2 direction to press an action part 2a of a switch part 2 for switching contact state.
