Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for an AC/DC-switching-rail insulating section, which enables to prevent an insulatier insulating a rail of AC side and of DC side, from burning and the above rails from melting even if a rail in a neutral section is relatively short. SOLUTION: At the connecting point between a DC feeding section and an AC feeding section, a connection circuit 4 is provided, which electrically connects the impedance bond 5 of the DC side rail 3 to the impedance bond of the AC side rail 1, the connection circuit having a resistance and a switching means 7 and 11.
