Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic hood which can hold an appropriate distance swiftly without excessively shortening a distance between a diseased part and the object lens of the endoscope, and can keep the distance during observation, to facilitate the appropriate observation of the diseased part with the endoscope. SOLUTION: The hood 1 forms an access prevention section 2 and a fitting section 3 detachably attached to the endoscope in one piece or in different pieces. The access prevention section 2 is formed into a cylindrical or speaker- like shape, and is bored off a notch portion 2a or the like. And, the access prevention section 2 is given a length which can get a viewing field of the objective lens 5 appropriately according to performance of the object lens 5 of the endoscope 4.
