Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent for measuring carbon dioxide gas by using an enzyme stable in a buffar (having pH of about 8.0-8.5) to be used for a measuring reagent. SOLUTION: This method for measuring the carbon dioxide gas is characterized in that the method comprises reacting phosphoenol pyruvate carboxylase stable in weak alkali with bicarbonate ions in a sample in the presence of phosphoenol pyruvate, reacting maleate dehydrogenase with formed oxaloacetic acid in the presence of NADH, and measuring the decreasing NADH to measure the carbon dioxide gas in the sample. The reagent therefor is also provided.
