PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain required support information by a terminal as necessary. SOLUTION: In a plant operation managing system, operation managing information receiving terminals 1a, 1b, etc., which are respectively incorporated/ externally arranged in different monitor controllers for monitoring and controlling respective plants are connected to an operation managing information providing device 2 via a network 3. The terminal is provided with a data transmitting means for transmitting plant measurement data, daily reports, slip files and equipment information. The operation managing information providing device is provided with a support information storage means for preserving support information which is necessary to operate and manage the plants, a data preserving means for judging the presence of the data request from data which is transmitted from the terminal and preserving data from the terminal in the case of no data request and an information providing means for selecting one of plant measurement data, the daily reports, the slip files, equipment information and support information in accordance with request contents when the data request exists and transmitting it to the terminal which requests data.
