Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an attaching operation and to realize cost reduction. SOLUTION: As for a developing device 2 including a developing housing 10 and a developer storing container 60 attached to the housing 10, and the container 60; front and rear locking slits 40 and 42, a locking boss 46 and a locking erect hook part 50 are formed at the upper end of the housing 10. The container 60 is equipped with a container main body 61, a flange 62 and a sealing film member 63. Front and rear parts to be locked 62a and 62b are formed on either side part of the flange 62, and a hole to be locked 64 and a hook part to be locked 66 are formed on the other side part thereof. The container 60 is attached to the housing 10 by locking the parts 62a and 62b with the slits 40 and 42, the part 66 with the hook part 50 and the hole 64 with the boss 64, respectively.
