Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for installing an elevator and an enlarged building without applying large-scale modification to an existing middle and low multiple dwelling house. SOLUTION: An entrance floor E2 is provided in each stair part after existing stair parts are removed. On the other hand, an elevator unit is constructed separately from the existing middle and low multiple dwelling house, the enlarged building in which floor parts 2a connected with each story exit in the elevator unit are arranged in parallel in the vertical direction is constructed by opposing it to the side where stair parts in the existing middle and low multiple dwelling house are formed, and the tips of communicating passages 10, 10a, etc., protruding outward from each story floor part are connected with the entrance floor E2 to install the elevator by merely applying slight modification without rebuilding the existing middle and low multiple dwelling house.
