Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas attempering tower equipped with dust collecting zone, which is an integrated type apparatus for dust collection and cooling, while suppressing generation of dioxin, decreasing a large site area and being able to be made compact. SOLUTION: The waste gas attempering tower 1 collecting dust contained in waste gas and cooling the gas, is composed of dual pipes of the inner pipe 2 and the outer pipe 3, a duct 5 introducing waste gas, is provided in a tangential direction of circumference of the outer pipe, the dust collecting zone 4 is formed for collecting dust in the waste gas by the force of inertia by swirling the waste gas between the outer pipe 3 and the inner pipe 2, and a cooling zone 6 which consists of a cooling means 7 for cooling the waste gas by introducing the waste gas from which dust is removed and a cooling space 8, is provided in the inner pipe 2.
