FABRIC PRESSER FOR BINDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric presser, by which the pocket of high quality can be formed by switching the pressure of pressing a fabric with a pressing member to two stages of strong and weak at least in the middle of a series of continuous work of a binding machine and beautifully performing sewing of the fabric and a fancy bound fabric and the formation of a straight line cut part and a corner cut part onto these fabrics. SOLUTION: The fabric presser 20 has a pressing member 21 for pressing a fabric 1 and a bound fabric 2 to slide on a work table 10, an air cylinder 22 of an actuator for pressing and driving the pressing member 21 on the work table 10, and a cylinder driving control mechanism 23 provided with a switching means capable of switching the pressure of pressing the working fabrics 1 and 2 with the pressing member 21 of the air cylinder 22 to the two stages of strong and weak in the middle of continuously performing a series of work for forming straight line seams 3, a straight line cut part 4 and a corner cut part 5 on the working fabrics 1 and 2.
