REMOTE CONTROL MOBILE SURVEILLANCE ROBOT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a state in an unattended office or home by using one mobile robot camera from a center, without installing many surveillance cameras. SOLUTION: A communication terminal 1, such as a videophone or the like and a remote control device 3, are installed on the center side. On the user home side, a communication terminal 6, such as a videophone or the like connected to the communication terminal 1 on the center side via a public network 100, AV tuner 9, transmitter 8 and mobile robot camera 10, are installed. The mobile robot camera 10 in the user home is controlled remotely, by the remote control device on the center side via the communication terminal 1, public network 100, communication terminal 6 and transmitter 8, so that AV information from the mobile robot camera 10 is monitored by the communication terminal 1 on the center side, via the AV tuner 9, communication terminal 6 and public network 100.
