PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication method and radio communication equipment, capable of reducing bit error rate by using a phase distortion compensating method which is suitable for propagation environment. SOLUTION: A frame signal generating part 4 inserts a pilot symbol, a synchronous word, and a unique word into an information symbol. The synchronous word and the unique word are turned into training system for an adaptive equalizer 20, and at least one of them is turned into a symbol system prepared by a deformed M system to be used for estimation of the delay spread. An output selecting part 22 selectively outputs either the output of a symbol judging part 19 or the output of the adaptive equalizer 20, according to the output of a delay spread estimating part 21.
