SOLUTION: In this electromagnetic clutch 30 which comprises the drive rotor 32 with a coil 33 built therein, and an armature facing the drive rotor 32 and having the armature plate 34 with the same axis of rotation, and attracts an end face 32a of the drive rotor 32 and the armature plate 34 by the magnetic force of the coil 33 when the coil 33 is excited by the application of the voltage to couple the drive rotor 32 with the armature 34 in an interlocking manner, the armature plate 34 is constituted by laminating a plurality of metal sheets (plates) 41.
