EXHAUST GAS COOLING TOWER WITH DUST COLLECTION PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cooling tower with a dust collection part which has an integrated cooling and dust collection function while suppressing the generation of dioxins and saving the installation place. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cooling tower 10, which cools exhaust gas containing particles of soot to perform dust collection, is constituted of a double cylinder consisting of an inner cylinder 1 and an outer cylinder 2, and an exhaust gas introducing part 3 is provided to the upper part of the inner cylinder 1 to set the inner cylinder 1 to a cooling part 6 consisting of a cooling means 4 and a cooling space 5 for cooling the exhaust gas. The lower part of the inner cylinder 1 is formed into an open structure so that the cooled exhaust gas can flow to the outer cylinder 2 and a dust collection part 7 is formed to the annular space between the inner and outer cylinders 1 and 2, and an exhaust gas discharge part 8 is provided to the upper part of the dust collection part 7.
